Belleair Bluffs is the 3rd smallest community in Pinellas County, which makes it very quaint and is considered “home” for a few lucky individuals and families in the Tampa Bay area that prefer to be in close proximity to the white sand beaches. It is located on the western shore of Pinellas County and borders the Intracoastal Waterway, but has no frontage on the Gulf of Mexico. This small city was founded in 1963 and was not expected to make it. With just under ¾ of a square mile and a population of approximately 2,200 people, the city is packed pretty tightly. Although the city is humble in size it still provides a comfortable, small town feel for all of its residents. This community provides many choices depending on your preference of housing. Housing is primarily single family homes with around 540 homes, and a more limited number of condominiums, apartments, and duplexes. With more than 200 businesses there is no lack of convenience in Belleair Bluffs. Shopping, dining, and many other shops are readily available in close proximity to all residential areas in Belleair Bluffs. While the city may be small it provides a close and friendly community and serves all the needs of its inhabitants.
